While at times unsettling, Drive was an excellent movie. The cinematography was phenomenal, and the soundtrack was great too. I also liked how it didnt depend on violence to tell the story; instead, it mainly focused on the suspenseful dialogue between characters. For instance, plenty of scenes shows off Goslings characters motorcycle skills through clever camera shots that dont rely on any sort of violence or gore.

We Need to Talk About Kevin is a chilling look at how one persons actions can profoundly affect many others. When the story opens, Eva Khatchadourian (Tilda Swinton) recalls her life before and after she became pregnant with Kevin (Ezra Miller). It soon becomes clear that something is wrong with Kevin. As he grows up, he increasingly exhibits signs of extreme behavioral problems. Tragedy strikes on his 16th birthday when he murders seven of his fellow schoolmates and two school officials. The film focuses on the relationship between Eva and her son.
One aspect of We Need to Talk About Kevin that I found interesting was its portrayal of mental illness. We see how Kevins mental state deteriorates as he ages, but this doesnt diminish Evas love for him. She never gives up trying to help her son, even though it becomes increasingly difficult as Time goes on. It was refreshing to see a mother-son relationship portrayed in which the mother loves her child so much that she is willing to put herself through immense pain just to help him, even though he is not well-behaved or stable mentally.

This movie is rated 4.5 stars on Netflix, but I gave it three stars. Interestingly, it was filmed in 1979 and then released in 2011 to tie in with the release of the new Transformers movie. It takes place in a small town where CIA agents are pursuing aliens. I didnt like this one as much as I liked Cloverfield or War of the Worlds because they were both interesting movies that took place mostly during the day. This one seemed to be lacking something important to make it great.

It is a film about a young girl in a mental institution who retreats to an imaginary world where she can live out her fantasies of being a warrior princess who battles zombies, monsters, and robots.
This is the best movie on this list. I love it because its so different from other movies Ive seen. And while it might not be for everyone, it has its redeeming qualities.
The storyline is interesting, though at times tough to follow. The special effects are amazing, and I always appreciate that. The visuals are also great, and I loved seeing the number of different settings in the movie. Even some humor was thrown into the mix, which made it more enjoyable.
It was a bit slow at times, but the ending made it worthwhile to watch this movie until the end. This is one of those movies that you have to pay attention to or else youll miss something important.

Final Destination 5 is a 2011 3D horror film and the fifth installment in the film series. The story follows a group of people who escape death after an apparent airplane explosion and begin to die one by one mysteriously.
The concept is good, but its been done before. It was very similar to Final Destination 2, which came out in 2003. Im not sure if any of the actors have ever been in a movie that Ive seen, but they did a great job acting.
